Amaterasu Hyuga, despite of other clan members, has pale features and more of a pinkish tinted Byakugan. Her skin is very fair, and a noticeable characteristic of her's is her hair scar, and tattoo. Her hair is silver, bordering white despite the Hyuga's usual dark and lucious hair. Her other distinct feature is the X shaped scar over her right eye, hence why she usually keeps it shut. Lastly, her tattoo is located on the left side of her neck. It's her clan's kanji, 日向, representing her honour of being part of such a prestigious clan.

More in depth of her features, she also has strong cheekbone that are defined yet not too hollow. Her lips are always painted a shade of deep purple, or black. She wears a fair amount of makeup to darken her white eyelashes and eyebrows. Amaterasu stands at 5 feet.

She also has many scars along her body, yet none 'noticeable' since she hides them fairly well with clothes or a transformation jutsu. Along the left side of her body, (shoulder, arm, hand, waist, hip and outter thigh) are covered in burns. She has minor scars along her body, as a regular kunoichi, but some of her deepest scars is a long gash along the right side of her spine, down her stomach, and across her chest, starting at one shoulder, ending at the other which is usually hidden with the trasformation jutsu.
